An excellent film for the whole family on God's love. Full of the gospel and the message of God's love towards us. This film is set, obviously, in the ancient Roman world. It's the story of a young slave girl, Anna (Eliya Hurt) who is bought by the local Christians and given her freedom, and of course, Polycarp (Gary Nation) their aging bishop. Under Roman persecution, their faith will be tested.
This is a wonderful, family-friendly film with great music, and a great message! The quality is great, and the acting is good. There is nothing inappropriate or questionable whatsoever, and this is a great film for all age groups. The ancient roman culture was very vile and lewd, (to say the least), but this film does not show any of it. (Because that's not the point of the film). Overall, this is an excellent film and has a message your family shouldn't miss!
